Why choose organic over non-organic?

Apple Cider Vinegar

Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar has been called one of natures most perfect foods. It has a brownish color with a pulp like substance called 'Mother' that settles at the bottom of the container. Natural ACV has vitamins, minerals, enzymes and pectin. The minerals are potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus. It helps building soft tissue for youthful looking skin, helps eliminate toxic waste, helping balance blood sugar and blood pressure levels, producing energy, and aiding digestion.I also use it to clean my vegetables and I use a little bit on my scalp after shampooing. It helps remove build up. To take: add an ounce of ACV to a glass of water and drink daily.

Algae such as Chlorella and Spirulina

Chlorella is known to be the most magnificent food in the world. Chlorella and Spirulina are both freshwater micro-alga. They have 18 amino-acids and help with tissue repair and growth. They help in the removal of modern-day toxins from our bodies, such as pesticides, insecticides, chemicals and heavy metals. Spirulina has 58 times more iron then spinach for all you people who are anemic, like I was. Chlorella has B-12 for vegans, 4-6 times more then raw beef liver.

Hemp Seed

Hemp seed is a nutritional power house. It is known as a fruit. It is readily digestible unlike nuts or seeds which have enzyme inhibitors. They have 34% pure digestible protein and 31% fatty acids. It has a rich source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants as well.

Lemons

We start our mornings with a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice, from half a lemon, mixed with a full glass of warm water. Lemons are the only food that have their electrons spinning in the opposite direction. This causes resistance to be formed and energy can be released. This restores balance to the bile. Dr. Cary Reams treated thousands of terminally ill patients with lemon water and had a 90% success rate. These impressive success results show that the creation of balanced energy in the body is very important for the efficient functioning of the liver. Lemon juice is acidic in the stomach, but once it is digested through the small intestine it has alkalizing properties. It also helps break down and remove mucus if you have a cold.

Natural Sea Salt

I am encouraging you to please make the healthy change and switch from table salt to sea salt.  Walk into your local health foods store and ask about unprocessed natural sea salt and a salt grinder. The salt should have a slight grey ting of color. We use Celtic sea salt.

* Tip - The sea salt will come in a bag and it will be a bit wet. So put it in a jar and leave it open in your cupboard at home so it can dry out.

I love sea salt! I put it on everything, my love for salt comes from my grandpa! Thanks Morfar (Grandfather in Danish). We don't have to worry about adding too much natural sea salt in our diet like we would with table salt. Without a properly-balanced salt base (in our tummys) we run out of electrolytes, which are essential for life, and our 'batteries run out'.

By putting too much salt (regular table salt) on your food for 50 years, your doctor will tell you that your cholesterol is too high and you need to take table salt out of your diet. Regular table salt yes! 100% Get rid of it! But unprocessed sea salt no! It is so good for you it will amaze you!

At big family dinners I like to talk about how great I feel, not to be vein but to try to encourage them that making healthy choices are the right choices. I talked about sea salt one evening and I guess I made an impact because they next time I saw my grandma and grandpa they said "WE GOT SEA SALT!" I am so proud of them! My Opa (grandfather in German) says to me, “But sea salt has just as much sodium as regular table salt!” (Is what the doctor tells him.) It actually has about 15% less and natural sea salt is absorbed as a mineral that your body needs to regulate your PH for a healthy balance in your tummy.

BENEFITS ON SEA SALT. Lets say you go out to a restaurant and you get a baked potato, a steak, then a couples beers to wash it all down. All of that cooked food is very acidic to your body. Your stomach has a PH level inside, just like a hot tub or your local indoor pool, you need to regulate the chemicals. But your lucky because your body does it for you. The acidic food has brought your PH way down to 6.2 (normal is 7.0) First it takes the organic sodium (from the sea salt) and brings the PH up to 6.7, then it takes organic potassium (from bananas) and brings your PH up to 6.9, then your body uses stored amino-acids (from spirulina and fresh salmon) and brings it back up to a normal range around 7.0. If your body doesn’t have organic sodium, potassium or amino acids it will take Calcium from your bones to regulate your PH, causing osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is the thinning of bone tissue and loss of bone density over time, which can lead to a painful future.

Now that cycle happens with every cooked meal you eat! That’s a lot of work on your body. When you feel tired after a meal that’s your body at work. The more organic sodium you put in your body, the easier your food will digest and your PH will regulate on it's own. Put sea salt in your drinking water! Put it in your pets drinking water! Put it on all of your meals and be happy that sea salt is good for you! It has 84 minerals that our body needs. Your blood also requires a natural whole salt to function because our cells must be bathed in a sodium-based fluid. When you buy sea salt make sure it’s a natural sea salt with no added chemicals or preservatives.
